Limited number of tickets remain for UVa.-Elon NCAA game

uva logoFewer than 1,000 tickets remain for Virginia’s Saturday night NCAA tournament game against Elon. Game time is 6 p.m. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to guarantee admission as this game is expected to sell out.

The Davenport Field ticket windows will open at 11 a.m. Saturday, two hours prior to the first session of the day. Single-session tickets for the regional can be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com until 4 p.m. or at the Davenport Field ticket windows. Single-session tickets are $12 for Reserved and $8 for General Admission.

Fans may upgrade from General Admission to Reserved on game day, subject to availability, at the Davenport Field ticket windows for $4 per ticket. Reserved tickets in the grandstand (sections 101-109) are not expected to be available for the 6 p.m. game.

The seating capacity at Davenport Field for postseason games is 4,956.

New for the 2013 postseason, seating in the left- and right-field bleachers will be reserved. Again this year, all seating in the grandstands and bleachers along the first-baseline will be reserved. General admission tickets are valid for the grass hillside along the left-field line and for standing room only.

Customers ordering tickets online may pick up their tickets at Davenport Field Will Call on game day beginning two hours prior to the first session of the day.

Parking
All parking lots adjacent to Davenport Field will be paid parking for the entire postseason. Parking on game day will be $5 cash in the University Hall, John Paul Jones Arena and McCue Center lots, subject to availability. The John Paul Jones Arena parking lot and garage will not be available for baseball parking on Saturday because of events at the arena.

Pre-paid parking permits will be valid in the University Hall parking lots. Pre-paid parking permits are sold out for the regional tournament.

Parking will be free throughout the tournament in the Emmet/Ivy Garage.
