Justin Augst promoted to manager of Staunton Kroger

krogerJustin Augst has been named manager of the Staunton Kroger store.

Augst has been co-manager of the store, located at 850 Statler Blvd.  Augst returned to the store last fall after being on a special assignment in Wisconsin.

He joined Kroger as a courtesy clerk at the Staunton store in 2000.  After graduating from Radford University, Augst was promoted to co-Manager and has served in management positions at stores in Harrisonburg and Charlottesville.

The Staunton Kroger is an excellent store, Augst says.  “Our store has been remodeled in the past couple of years, and last fall online shopping was added,” he said.

“We have a wide selection of items and an experienced team of associates who work together to provide outstanding customer service.”

He is a graduate of Ft. Defiance High School and a current resident of Waynesboro.  He enjoys outdoor sports.  His parents live in Mt. Sidney.

The Staunton Kroger employs approximately 100 associates and includes a pharmacy and fuel center. The store is open from 6 a.m. to midnight every day.
