With players reporting to camp in less than five weeks, the Bridgewater Eagles football team is getting geared up for its annual Pigskin Preview event. The ninth annual Pigskin Preview is slated for Saturday, Aug. 21, on the Bridgewater campus.

For the past eight years, head football coach Michael Clark, the players and the BC staff have used the Pigskin Preview as an informative setting to get fans in the loop about Eagles football and what to expect from the football team.

This year’s preview starts off with a high noon lunch in the Kline Campus Center with the Player and Coaches. Following lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to sit down with Coach Clark in Cole Hall for an informative Q&A session, before heading to individual meetings.

The day wraps up with an open practice for fans and families to attend on the playing field at Jopson Field.

Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and over. Children under the age of 12 are admitted for free.

To RSVP, contact Assistant Sports Information Director Tim Leister at 540.828.5615 or via email at [email protected]. Deadline for reservations in Thursday, Aug. 19.

Bridgewater opens the 2010 regular season on Saturday, Sept. 5, when the Eagles travel to Latrboe, Pa. to do battle with St. Vincent.
