strasburgStephen Strasburg was the Stephen Strasburg you imagine him to be, pitching the Washington Nationals to a 6-1 win over Colorado Saturday night.

Strasburg (6-5, 4.76 ERA), in his first start since returning from the disabled list, struck out 12 in seven innings, giving up a run on three hits, and not issuing any walis.

Radford alum Eddie Butler (3-9, 5.50 ERA) took the loss for the Rockie, giving up four runs on eight hits in six innings.

UVA alum Ryan Zimmerman was 2-for-4 with two RBI for the Nats. Bryce Harper was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored.

Washington (57-52) moved to a game and a half back of the New York Mets (59-51) in the National League East. The Mets lost in Tampa Bay on Saturday, 5-4.
