nationals_logoWhat’s wrong, again, with the Nats? Jordan Zimmerman was touched up for six runs in three and a third, and Washington fell for the second night in a row in Milwaukee, falling to the Brewers, 8-4.

The loss is the 12th in 16 games for the Nationals (31-30), who fall to a game and a half back of the New York Mets in the National League East.

Zimmerman (5-4) gave up nine hits in his short stint, which ended as the Brewers were in the midst of a four-run fourth that pushed their lead to 7-2.

Mike Fiers (3-6) got the win for Milwaukee, giving up three runs on five hits in seven innings of work, striking out eight and walking three.

Bryce Harper hit his 21st homer of the season, a solo shot in the second.
