Liberty announces times for 2015 football home games

liberty-flames21In preparation for the upcoming 2015 football season, Liberty Athletics has announced game times for its five home contests at Williams Stadium. Liberty opens the season on Sept. 5 against Delaware State with kickoff set for 7 p.m. The contest marks the first time Liberty has begun its season at Williams Stadium since 2008.

Hall of Fame Weekend spotlights Liberty’s second home game against Montana. The Sept. 19 contest is slated to begin at 7 p.m. Liberty Athletics will honor its seventh Athletics Hall of Fame class during the weekend.

Liberty welcomes Big South newcomer Kennesaw State to Williams Stadium on Oct. 24, with kickoff slated for 7 pm. The contest spotlights Liberty’s Homecoming Weekend schedule.

The Flames open the month of November by hosting Presbyterian. Kickoff at Williams Stadium will be at 3:30 p.m., and the Military Appreciation Day game will feature a moving halftime show that honors all branches of the armed forces.

Liberty wraps up its 2015 regular season schedule on Nov. 21 when they host Big South rival Coastal Carolina. The #BEATCOASTAL contest will begin at 3:30 p.m., where a possible berth into the NCAA FCS Playoffs and Big South title could be on the line.
