AFP

accIt is never too soon for a look back at one of the more memorable New York Life ACC Tournaments. “Bringing Your A Game: The 2015 New York Life ACC Tournament” documents this year’s historic event in Greensboro, which featured the first-ever Tuesday games, a Saturday night championship game for the first time since 1981, and the first-ever championship trophy for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

The 30-minute program is scheduled to air four times next week on ESPNU, beginning Memorial Day evening (Monday, May 25) at9:30 p.m.

Highlighted by extensive game footage and interviews, “Bringing Your A Game: The 2015 New York Life ACC Tournament,” is a behind the scenes look at the drama and determination that goes in to winning the title

Cameras go into the locker room, onto the court and into the parking lots of the Greensboro Coliseum to capture the emotion and intensity on all sides as  ACC teams vie for one of the league’s most coveted awards.

With narration by former Virginia standout and current ACC Network commentator Cory Alexander providing well-timed segues, the 2015 New York Life ACC Tournament story is told by the players, coaches and fans, and through voice-overs from actual game broadcasts.  The viewer will experience the joyful celebration of the winning locker room, the tearful embraces that follow a season-ending defeat, and matter-of-fact analysis of coaches in the aftermath of game plans both well-executed and gone awry.

Fittingly, Notre Dame and winning coach Mike Brey get the last word.

ESPNU has scheduled airings of “Bringing Your A Game: The 2015 New York Life ACC Tournament” at the following times:

  • Monday, May 25 at 9:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 26 at 11:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 27 at 7:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m.
