Reggie Owens invited to tryout with Buffalo Bills

odu logoFormer Old Dominion University football cornerback Reggie Owens was invited to tryout at Buffalo Bills rookie mini camp this weekend.

Owens becomes the fifth former Monarch football player and sixth student-athlete overall to participate in rookie mini camps.  Owens joins Taylor Heinicke (Vikings), Rick Lovato (Bears) and Larry Pinkard (Packers). Josh Mann and Antonio Vaughan have tryouts with the Jacksonville Jaguars while former ODU basketball player, Richard Ross, received an invitation to tryout at Minnesota’s rookie mini camp this weekend.

Owens started all 12 games at cornerback in 2014, recording 26 tackles, one sack and one interception.
