The Senior Transportation Program trip planned to go to Walmart in Staunton for today, March 4, 2014, was cancelled due to poor road conditions. It has been rescheduled for March 11, 2014. The van will pick up riders at the Highland Library at 9 AM and the McDowell Presbyterian Church at 9:30AM next Tuesday.

Van driver Wes Maupin has agreed to drive people who walk to the library and/or do not have transportation home with their groceries. He has is also agreed to help those who need help shopping due to vision or physical challenges. Should an individual need to be picked up at their home they will need to contact me, Harmony at 468-2178 to discuss details.

The transportation program is for people over 60 who may or may not have a car and are still able to drive. The cost for round trip is only $2 per person!
