Wind advisory in effect for Halloween Night

AFP

Oh, yeah. It won’t be spooky out there tonight at all, it being Halloween, and the Waynesboro area being under a wind advisory.

pumpkinThe national weather service issued the wind advisory to be in effect from midnight to 8 a.m. Friday. The strongest winds are expected between 4-8 a.m., with gusts up to 50 mph and sustained winds in the 15-30 mph range.

Lots of leaves blowing around, in addition to scattered tree and power line damage.

Oh, and be careful driving over the mountains.
