Staunton Augusta Art Center opens Summer Studio

saaclogoSummer is here!  Time to register for Summer Studio at the Staunton Augusta Art Center. Call 885-2028 by June 17 to register for the June 24-28 session.

$85 per week/$75 for members
Scholarships are available and require a letter of recommendation mailed directly to the Staunton Augusta Art Center from a teacher, principal, or guidance counselor.

 

Power up Pencils, Paints, Palettes, and Prints, June 24-28

You asked, we listened, and here is our answer to what is requested the most, “Please teach the basics and make it fun.”   We will!

 

Dramatic Drawings (ages 4-5) Experience the fun in fundamentals while acquiring basic drawing skills through the use of pencils.  Create pint size pointillism pictures to panoramic projects.

 

Probing Painting (ages 6-8) Learn color theory and how to blend, mix, and apply all types of paint for picture-perfect masterpieces.

 

Printmaking with Pizzazz (9-12): Printmaking produces multiple pieces from one original.  Talk about the ultimate bargain in creating presents for family and friends!
