Based on her performance and reputation among physicians and executives at Augusta Health, Director of Physician Recruitment Arlene Macellaro has been named the national Staff Physician Recruiter of the Year by Jackson & Coker.
The award was created and is sponsored by Jackson & Coker to draw attention to the critical and often unsung role physician recruiting professionals play in hospitals across the United States.
“Arlene Macellaro performs a vital function for Augusta Health,” says L. Nominations for the award were made by hospital administrators and physicians throughout the United States. Macellaro was selected by an independent panel of healthcare executives based on the quality content of her nominations.
