Don’t Stop Believin’ What Love Is: ForJoury coming to the Wayne Theatre

The Wayne Theatre in Downtown Waynesboro is set to host a tribute band called ForJoury, which, if you haven’t already guessed, blends the hits of Foreigner and Journey.

The show is scheduled for April 10.

Seriously, “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” in one show.

“There’s a lot of Foreigner and Journey tribute bands out there, but we wanted to do our spin and have a great time with it. A lot of the bands will use a lyric of a song and/or a song title, but we have a sense of humor about it. So we came up with ForJoury. We really like the name and it stuck,” guitarist Peter Tentindo said in an interview with The Chronicle-Telegram last year.

The New England-based band also does a separate tribute show called Brother Doobie, based on, you guessed it, The Doobie Brothers.

You never know; maybe a Doobies’ hit sneaks in there.
