Art Hive presents a vibrant celebration of artistic expression as Philip Glover and GinGer showcase their distinct styles, shaped over 15 years of creative exploration.
Known for their postmodern, sporadic movement paintings, Glover and GinGer challenge traditional artistic boundaries, embracing spontaneity and freedom in their work.
“The rules of painting often belong to entirely different genres. Some of my favorite pieces have no law, order or guideline — just pure, unfiltered expression,” Glover said.
On March 7 from 5 to 7 p.m., visitors are encouraged to bring an open heart and a spirit of acceptance to meet the artists at their opening reception at Art Hive.
“For anyone who has ever believed they aren’t an artist, I hope to show that it all begins with a single color. The true joy of art is in the process, the movement, the discovery,” Glover said.
The art opening is a celebration of 15 years of artistic freedom and self-expression, which may inspire others on their own artistic journey with Glover at his workshop on March 22, “The Colors of Fun,” from noon to 2 p.m.
Art Hive is at 835 Spring Hill Rd., Staunton.
