Lynchburg: 90-year-old man dead in single-vehicle accident on Monday

A Lynchburg man is dead from injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Monday in the 1000 block of Moreview Drive.

The identity of the 90-year-old man, who was a passenger in the 10:01 a.m. Monday crash, has not been released by Lynchburg Police.

The driver was also transported to Lynchburg General Hospital for treatment of injuries.

The incident remains under investigation. The Lynchburg Police Department asks anyone who may have witnessed this crash to contact Sgt. A.M. Turner with the Traffic Safety Unit at 434-455-6047 or anonymously reach out to Crime Stoppers at (888) 798-5900.
