A crash in Warren County between a vehicle and Norfolk Southern train has left one woman with serious injuries.

Sharon L. Roeder, 53, of Linden, was transported to the Winchester Medical Center after the accident on Sunday at 5 p.m. near the intersection of CCC Road and John Marshall Highway.

According to Virginia State Police, Roeder was traveling south in her Infiniti Q60 on CCC Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with the eastbound Norfolk Southern train.

Roeder was charged with reckless driving.

There were two occupants on the train, but neither was injured.
