Update: Missing attorney from Roanoke County located in Fairfax

Update: Friday, 9:44 a.m. According to a report from The Aware Foundation, missing Roanoke attorney Luke Young has been located in Fairfax and is safe.

Per the report, Young, who had last been heard from on Dec. 27, and was reported missing on Dec. 28, walked into a fire station in Fairfax.

No other details.


Update: Thursday, 11:30 a.m. According to The Aware Foundation, there is concern from the family of missing Roanoke attorney Luke Young that he may be the victim of foul play.

Per the family, Young was headed to Houston on Dec. 26 in a rented 2024 white Bronco Sport, but the vehicle was found in an underground parking garage in Fairfax on Dec. 30.

Young’s phone was turned off on Dec. 27, according to his family.

He was reported missing on Dec. 28.


First report: Wednesday, 6:38 p.m. The Roanoke County Police Department is attempting to locate a missing 45-year-old attorney.

Luke Young was last seen in Roanoke County on Dec. 26. His vehicle was found in Fairfax, and his phone has been turned off.
