Together We Give, Together We Share at Art Hive to benefit Hurricane Helene relief effort

Art Hive in Staunton near Gypsy Hill Park will host a benefit for Hurricane Helene Grassroot Relief on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Live music performances, art and community healing will support mutual aid grassroot relief efforts of Eleanor Bramwell at Mandala Springs in Asheville, N.C.

Together We Give, Together We Share will feature performances from unique local musicians, including Eleagnus, Dane’s Yard Service, Bristol of New York in collaboration with rock balancer, Danny “Doctor Rock” Rose; Sacred sound meditation with Iris Remory; live storytelling, children’s crafts and art with Cat Freeman.

All funds raised will be donated to help Mandala Springs sustain efforts to distribute, test and haul clean water from their property to individuals affected by Hurricane Helene in and around Western North Carolina.

Donations of $10 to $20 per person are suggested, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Donations are also welcome online.

Art Hive is at 835 Spring Hill Rd., Staunton. An inclusive art space, Art Hive brings together artists, enthusiasts and community members for artistic exploration, collaboration and self-expression. With a diverse range of engaging activities and a showcase of local talent, Art Hive is dedicated to empowering individuals through art.
