President Biden couldn’t cough without having CNN devote an hour to a panel breaking down how he needed to drop out of the 2024 race because he was too old, borderline senile, might not even make it alive to Election Day, the rest.
Isn’t it weird that, now that Biden has dropped out of the race, we’re not getting the same breakdown of ex-president Donald Trump, who is just three years younger than Biden, and clearly has something wrong with him that gets him to talk about bacon and wind power when he’s asked in a town hall about inflation.
“You take a look at bacon and some of these products, and some people don’t eat bacon anymore,” Trump began his answer to the question at the Thursday town hall.
“And we are going to get the energy prices down when we get energy down. You know, this was caused by their horrible energy, wind. They want wind all over the place, but when it doesn’t blow, we have a little problem there.”
To be clear, the softball question from the audience asked Trump about his plan “to make life more affordable and bring down inflation.”
Bacon is the first thing that came to his mind.
The second: that people supposedly aren’t eating bacon anymore.
Third: wind, and how when it doesn’t blow, “we have a little problem there.”
This is the addled brain of someone suffering from dementia.
Trump needs to be in an assisted-living facility, not the White House.
