Women’s Soccer: No. 1 UVA hosts No. 16 Virginia Tech Thursday

UVA soccerThe No. 1 UVA women’s soccer team (8-0-1, 0-0-1 ACC) returns home to host No. 16 Virginia Tech (9-0-0, 1-0-0 ACC) in a 5 p.m. match at Klöckner Stadium on Thursday.

It will be the first home ACC match of the season for the Cavaliers and the first road contest in ACC play for the Hokies.

Thursday’s match is sponsored by Virginia529, the official college savings plan of University of Virginia Athletics. It is also a potential point in the Commonwealth Clash, the point rivalry series between University of Virginia and Virginia Tech and presented by Virginia Five Two Nine.
