McAuliffe, Herring to campaign for Hillary Clinton in Charlottesville, Richmond

AFP

hillary clintonOn Thursday, Governor Terry McAuliffe will campaign for Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine in Charlottesville and Attorney General Mark Herring will campaign for Clinton and Kaine in Southside Richmond.

At the events, McAuliffe and Herring will discuss Clinton’s lifetime commitment to fighting for children and families in Virginia and across the country. From her first job out of law school working for the Children’s Defense Fund to her work as first lady fighting for children’s health care and as a senator working across the aisle to expand benefits for families of fallen soldiers, Clinton has always put children and families first.

And as president, Clinton will build an economy that works for everyone—not just those at the top—with good jobs and a good education available for every child in every ZIP code.

McAuliffe and Herring will encourage supporters to help register Virginians to vote ahead of the October 17 deadline. Voters can check their registration status or register to vote by visiting www.iwillvote.com.
