The City of Charlottesville’s Downtown Job Center and the Albemarle County Career Center will partner to host a hiring event to help local employers at 5th Street Station find qualified candidates for employment. The hiring event will be held from 10am-1pmat Carver Recreation Center located at 233 4th St NW, Charlottesville, VA 22903. Free parking is available onsite in the parking garage.
Representatives from A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts, Field & Stream, Panera Bread, and Wegmans will be onsite to speak with job seekers. Individuals interested in employment with these employers should apply online in advance of the event, bring a copy of their resume, and come dressed for success. Some employers will be offering on-the-spot interviews for qualified candidates and/or scheduling interviews for a later date.
Anyone interested in employment with one of these employers who needs assistance completing an online application or preparing/reviewing a resume should visit the Downtown Job Center located in the Lower-Level of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library at 201 E. Market Street, Charlottesville, Virginia and staff will be available to assist.
