The left lane of the westbound exit ramp from the Route 250 Bypass to Barracks Road will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday for installation of traffic detection loops in the pavement.
The loops sense traffic and control the signal phasing at the Barracks Road interchange.
Motorists traveling west on the Route 250 Bypass and exiting at Barracks Road should be alert for signs and traffic controls on the ramp and reduce speed as they enter the work area. The work will be completed overnight and the lane will be reopened to traffic.
