Governor Terry McAuliffe to open Hillary for Virginia Richmond office

Chris Graham

hillary clintonOn Friday, Hillary for Virginia will open an office in Richmond in advance of the March 1 primary. At the event, Governor Terry McAuliffe will join supporters to discuss Hillary’s plans to get results and break down barriers for Virginians including reforming the criminal justice system, raising wages, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and providing economic empowerment for minority communities.

“I’m excited to join supporters who have been mobilizing and making calls across the Commonwealth to share Hillary’s vision for helping families get ahead,” said Governor McAuliffe. “The road to the Democratic nomination goes through Virginia, and I’m confident Hillary’s support from Virginians and record of fighting for the policies that will make a difference, from college affordability, to raising middle class incomes, and keeping our service members safe, will help her win here on March 1st.”

The campaign’s Richmond office will be a hub for organizing activity in Central Virginia. Organizers and volunteers will host phone banks, organizing meetings, and canvasses from the office as well as from supporters’ homes across the region.
