Art Exhibit: Landscapes: Oil Paintings by Jeanette Cohen
A Free Evening of Art and Wine

WriterHouse is proud to present the work of local artist Jeanette Cohen for the month of September.

Jeanette has spent the past 35 years in the mountains and coasts of the Mid-Atlantic States. Her art revolves around her appreciation of rural life, and her work is an expression of those feelings, hopes, and fondest memories. She is captivated by how light plays on her subject as well as the ever-changing shadows, colors, and shapes that occur as the day progresses. Jeanette’s work is in several private and corporate collections and has been exhibited in private galleries and in solo, group, and juried shows throughout the East Coast. Additional works are available for viewing or purchase on Jeanette’s website, jeanettecohen.com.

The Friday opening reception is FREE and open to the public. Refreshments courtesy of DuCard Vineyards. The exhibit will remain on display through September 27th.

Contact Pixie Clauson, our intern curator, for more information.

I’m totally on the side of Dianna Russini in this generated controversy over her being caught holding hands, hugging and lounging in a hot tub with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel. Seriously, what sportswriter isn’t holding hands, hugging and lounging in hot tubs with coaches they cover? Just last week, for instance, Ryan Odom,...
