Buff Bagwell and a “major announcement” from local pro-wrestling promoters Marvin Ward and David Hebner. And it’s free.
“It’s our stimulus economic relief package,” said Ward, who with Hebner is helping LTW Entertainment owner Steve Balsley with the Saturday, Sept. 19 free pro-wrestling show at the old Wilson Memorial High School gym.

Free admission – no gimmick. “Money is tight for everybody,” Ward said. “We want to do something for the community so people can come out and have a good time and not have to go broke doing it.”

The free admission is made possible by the sponsorship of Clayton Homes in Stuarts Draft.

The full card is available online at www.myspace.com/ltwent.

The main event pits former New World Order star Buff Bagwell vs. The Omen with Hebner as the special guest referee. Also on the card are local favorites Body Count and Christopher Saint with Azriel.

And then there’s that “major announcement” from Ward and Hebner.

Ward gave me an idea as to what it was, but he made me swear not to tell.

It is major. I can say that much.
