Sunday Virginia-Mississippi State Game Suspended, Will Restart at 4 p.m. Monday

uva logoThe second game of the 2013 NCAA Charlottesville Super Regional at Davenport Field was suspended Sunday evening because of inclement weather. UVa.’s game with Mississippi State was delayed in the bottom of the seventh inning with MSU holding a 5-3 lead.
The game will resume at 4 p.m. Monday and will be televised by ESPN2 or ESPNU. UVa pitcher Kyle Crockett had an 0-2 count in the bottom of the seventh with none out while facing Hunter Renfroe. MSU leads the series, 1-0.
