Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today more than $3 million in Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) for the counties of Dickenson, Scott, York, Lee and Fauquier, as well as the town of Clarksville and the city of Franklin. Projects include water and sewer, downtown revitalization and microenterprise.

Waynesboro High School Concert Band performs at the Walt Disney World Resort

Members of Waynesboro High School Concert Band became stars of their own Disney show on Feb. 17 when they entertained resort guests at Waterside Stage at Downtown Disney. The group traveled from Waynesboro, Va. to the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to take part in the Disney Performing Arts Program.
