Wayne Theatre Alliance’s 2012 Christmas Home Tour will be a chance to experience the holiday traditions and decor of some of Waynesboro’s finest homes. The annual event will feature six homes and two institutions dressed for the holiday. The Tour is from 10 am to 4 pm on December 1st. Tickets are available in advance at WTA’s office. They will be available at the Plumb House and at WTA’s Gateway before 2 pm on the day of the tour. Again this year, WTA will offer a special bus tour for those who would rather ride than drive.

Stan Okoye had a game-high 22 points, D.J. The victory is VMI’s first win over Old Dominion since Jan. 25, 1978.

The game was broadcast on the NBC Sports Network as part of the CAA’s national TV package. The Green and Gold fell to 3-1 overall, while Miami evened its record at 2-2.

U.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va) joined Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.) in introducing legislation today that will make voting faster and more accessible to all voters. The Fair, Accurate, Secure and Timely (FAST) Voting Act of 2012 creates a competitive grant program to encourage states to aggressively pursue election reforms. It would provide incentives for states like Virginia to invest in practices and technology designed to expedite voting at the polls and simplify voter registration.
