The UVA men’s basketball team had four players earn All-ACC awards Sunday as the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA) announced its 2014-15 honors. The Cavaliers tied a school record with three All-ACC selections, while Tony Bennett repeated as ACC Coach of the Year and senior Darion Atkins (Clinton, Md.) was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year.

Senior forward Moussa Kone had a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds and junior guard Ameen Tanksley scored 16 points to lead Hofstra to a 74-57 victory over James Madison in Saturday’s second quarterfinal game in the Colonial Athletic Association Men’s Basketball Championship at Royal Farms Arena.

James Pannell scored six goals and No. 7 UVA (4-1) survived a late surge by No. 8 Cornell (3-2) to escape with a 15-14 triumph on Saturday afternoon at the UHall Turf Field.
