Former Cavalier rower Jenny Shultis has been named an assistant strength and conditioning coach for Virginia athletics. Shultis, a native of Lexington, Va., has served as a graduate assistant in the UVa strength and conditioning department since the fall of 2012.

Bridgewater College welcomes four new full-time faculty members for the 2013-14 academic year. The faculty members, who will arrive on campus in late August for meetings before the start of classes on Sept. 3, will join the departments of chemistry, English, mathematics and computer science, and philosophy and religion.

Secure Futures, LLC, a developer of solar energy for non-profit institutions in education and other fields, announced today that it has completed installing a 34-kilowatt solar photovoltaic array on the roof of a low-income housing apartment building in Harrisonburg.
