The Route 11 Cedar Creek bridge project at the Shenandoah-Warren county line is entering a new phase, which means a traffic-pattern change for drivers.

The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing concerning improvements to Route 624 (Happy Creek Road) in Warren County. The meeting will take place from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Warren County Middle School, 522 Heritage Drive, Front Royal.

Motorists should expect significant traffic delays through the Easter holiday weekend on northbound Interstate 81 in Frederick County due to emergency bridge work in West Virginia.

Snow is ending in the Shenandoah Valley as late afternoon transitions into evening. Most interstate and primary roads are in clear to minor condition with many secondary roads in moderate to minor condition.
