
Rockbridge County: Route 631 closed April 3-4 for railroad crossing repairs

Drivers using eastbound and westbound Interstate 64 can expect brief delays Sunday morning, March 24, during a slow roll closure for utility work near mile marker 45 in Rockbridge County.

Milling and paving operations are scheduled for about five weeks beginning Sunday, September 9, on southbound Interstate 81 in Rockbridge County.

The on-ramp from Route 60 (Midland Trail) to southbound Route 11 (Lexington bypass) in Rockbridge County is scheduled to be closed during overnight hours Tuesday and Wednesday, August 21-22.

Both southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Rockbridge County have reopened following this morning’s tractor trailer crash at mile marker 196 near Lexington. The detour at exit 200 (Fairfield) has been lifted.
