
Interstate 81 lane, ramp closures in Shenandoah Valley Aug. 17-21
The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled lane and ramp closures along Interstate 81 between mile markers 174 and 311 during the week of August 17-21.

Part of Route 675 (Broadhead School Road) in the Greenville area of Augusta County is scheduled to close Monday, August 17, through Friday, September 4 for repairs to the bridge over Broadhead Creek. The road will be closed between the intersections of Route 919 (Old Providence Road) and Route 604 (McClures Mill Road).

The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled overnight lane closures on Interstate 64 eastbound and westbound in Augusta County for the nights of August 17-18. These alternating lane closures are from mile marker 93 to 89 for pavement marking as part of the reconstruction of exit 91 at Route 285 near Fishersville.

The following is a list of highway work that might affect traffic in the Staunton transportation district during the coming weeks. The Staunton district is comprised of 11 counties: Alleghany, Bath, Rockbridge, Augusta, Highland, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Frederick, Page, Warren and Clarke.
