The Tom Tom Foundation, Charlottesville Area Transit, and JAUNT announced today the opening of the sixth-annual City Art Bus public design competition.

The Charlottesville Department of Utilities has partnered with the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) to launch the Charlottesville Gas Energy Efficiency Program (CGEEP).

TEDxCharlottesville and Starr Hill Presents will present another dynamic TEDxCharlottesville program at the historic Paramount Theater in downtown Charlottesville on Friday, Nov. 8.

TEDxCharlottesville opens the stage to a select group of participants to give their best idea, performance or talk.

New Dominion Bookshop will host a free concert featuring the Charlottesville Municipal Band Clarinet Ensemble on Friday, Sept. 27, from 7-8 p.m. This event is open to the public.

The local public media company long-known as the Community Idea Stations has changed its name to VPM. To help celebrate the launch of this new brand, local PBS fans are invited to an open house at VPM’s Downtown Mall location in Charlottesville.
