Custin Jazz Series presents Stephanie Nakasian and Hod O’Brien

The Custin Jazz Series brings two outstanding jazz musicians to WTA’s Gateway on Saturday February 9. The 8 pm performance unites jazz singer Stephanie Nakasian with jazz pianist Hod O’ Brien in an evening of classic American jazz. The evening is one of a kind and made possible by a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

A Christmas Carol at WTA’s Gateway

John Hardy, nationally known for his one-man play, Rattlesnake, will bring his adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol to WTA’s Gateway for one night only on Saturday, December 22 at 7 pm at 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro. The performance runs approximately eighty minutes and is performed in one act. It is appropriate for audiences of any age but is best suited for age ten and above.

Shenandoah Valley regional energy efficiency strategy yields impressive results

As the results roll in from a two-year Shenandoah Valley Regional Energy Efficiency Strategy developed and executed by the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission, the program is being touted by Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy Projects Coordinator, Ron Hachey, as a “shining star” among other state energy efficiency projects.
