The 127th generation of Virginia State Troopers was welcomed into the ranks Friday, with 52 new troopers presented their diplomas during commencement exercises at the State Police Training Academy in North Chesterfield County.

At a special meeting held April 10, Charlottesville City Council unanimously approved the FY 2019 budget, tax rate and vehicle tax relief programs.
