Three people from Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) attended Leader Training in Harrisonburg, and there are now seven WWRC staff trained as Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) Leaders.
WWRC began implementing CDSMP as part of the Life Skills Program on July 2 and the first 2 workshops were completed in August with 21 students completing at least 4 of the 6 sessions. With the additional staff available to lead workshops, WWRC will be able to offer the workshop to all students in the Life Skills Program.
