HarrisonburgWork to improve the intersection of Erickson Avenue and Garbers Church Road in Harrisonburg will begin Monday.

A dedicated left-turn lane, heading both East and West, will be constructed on Erickson Avenue at the intersection of Garbers Church Road.

The through lane and righthand turn lane will be combined.

The change will help improve the flow of traffic through the intersection. Improvements are expected to be completed by Aug. 7.

Drivers are urged to use caution around this area while work takes place.
