Women’s Lacrosse: #8 Virginia wins at #20 Stanford

UVA women’s lacrosseSammy Mueller matched a career-high with six goals to lead No. 8 Virginia in its 12-11 win at No. 20 Stanford on Friday afternoon.

Mueller led all players with six goals, had a career-high 11 ground balls and added six draw controls and two caused turnovers.

Courtlynne Caskin had three goals for UVA (2-0), including the game-winner, and one assist. Lillie Kloak scored two goals and Annie Dyson had one.

Mikaela Watson led Stanford with four goals.
