I’ve been giving a lot of attention to the transfer portal for the UVA Basketball men. There are five from the women’s team in the portal, including 6’4” senior forward Latasha Lattimore, who averaged 14.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in 2024-2025.
I’m guessing Lattimore, a senior, would be getting a fifth year because she only played nine games as a sophomore at Miami in 2022-2023.
She doubled her minutes and dramatically increased her productivity in 2024-2025, and I can see some value for her on the NIL market.
The other rotation player among the five in the portal is 6’3” sophomore forward Edessa Noyan, who put up 5.7 points and 4.3 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per game this past season.
Also in the portal:
- 5’9” senior guard Casey Valenti-Paea (2.1 ppg, 10.5 minutes/g in 2024-2025)
- 5’11” freshman guard Payton Dunbar (1.9 ppg, 8.7 minutes/g in 2024-2025)
- 6’7” sophomore center Hawa Doumbouya (DNP for Virginia in 2024-2025)
