Bridgewater, now 4-4, held a slim 37-35 lead with three minutes left in the second period, but a 7-0 run to close the half lifted the Eagles to a 44-35 lead at the break.

Rebecca Harvey started the run with a layup and Briana Moore made 3-of-4 at the foul line for a 42-35 margin. Harvey added two free throws to send the Eagles to the locker room with a 44-35 advantage.

Kaitlyn Lehan sandwiched a pair of layups around a jumper by Jessica Lam to start the second half as the Eagles opened up 50-35 lead. Moore closed the 10-0 spurt with four straight points for a 54-35 Eagles’ lead with 7:37 left in the third period.

The Eagles led by as many as 23 points in the second half and the margin never dwindled below 14 points.

Four Eagles reached double figures, led by Lam with 22 points. Moore scored 17 points and Lehan posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Sydni Carey finished the contest with 11 points. Lam added six assists and five rebounds while Lehan helped control the lane with four blocked shots. Moore and Harvey each grabbled seven rebounds to help Lehan control the glass where the Eagles finished with a 50-42 advantage.

The Eagles are back in action Saturday afternoon when they host the Apprentice School for the annual Toy Drive game. Fans brining a new unwrapped toy will be granted free admission. Tip-off is set for noon.
