The National Weather Service is full of bitter, mean-spirited, spiteful people. That, or they’re onto something with their latest Winter Storm Warning for Augusta County northward into Maryland.
The warning goes into effect at 10 p.m. tonight and runs through 7 p.m. Thursday. The forecast has the region in line for 6 to 10 inches of snow.
Temperatures during the day in the 50s will fall tonight to around freezing and remain there throughout the day on Thursday.
The precipitation will start as rain tonight before changing over. The heaviest snow is expected mid-day Thursday.
