AFP

William & MaryWith the approach of Hurricane Florence, the football game scheduled for Saturday, Sept 15, between Elon and William & Mary has been postponed.

The two schools will work closely with the Colonial Athletic Association and make every effort to reschedule the competition, but no make-up date has been identified.

“The safety of our student-athletes, staff and fans are paramount to any athletic contest and we must do our part to ensure their safety throughout the weather event,” William & Mary Director of Athletics Samantha K. Huge said. “Our thoughts are with all of those in the storm’s path and our first responders.”
