Who is a senior? ERSC & ERHS bowl

AFP

Approximately 16 East Rockingham High School SCA and special-education students joined 14 East Rockingham Senior Center members and staff on a field trip to the Shenandoah T-Bowl on Nov. 12.

The question of the day was, “Who’s the senior?” As many of our ERSC group bowled strikes, this left the younger students pondering the question.

The opportunity for the high school students, many of whom are seniors, to join us was posed to ERHS SCA advisor Kim Dean, who gladly accepted our invitation and worked on the necessary field trip planning requirements for her group to meet us at the bowling alley.

While the SCA and special education department have visited our Senior Center, this was our first trip together to the bowling alley.  And, from the generous amount of laughs and stories shared, it will certainly not be our last!
