It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year.

Tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic shootings at Virginia Tech that claimed 33 lives.

Augusta Free Press Publishing is sponsoring a community vigil Wednesday morning in Downtown Waynesboro to remember the victims.

We Are All Hokies: A Community Vigil will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 in front of the Charles T. Yancey Municipal Building in Downtown Waynesboro.

Local pastor Bob Johnson will offer remarks about tragic day in Blacksburg. Local Virginia Tech alums will read the names of those who died that day.

A moment of silence will begin at 9:51 a.m., a year to the minute that the shootings came to an end.
