Update: Waynesboro YMCA closing for remainder of March

AFP

ymcaThe Waynesboro YMCA is closing for the remainder of the month and suspending all programming and activities.

“Part of our mission is social responsibility, and we are following the governor’s recent mandate for fitness centers to reduce the spread of the coronavirus,” executive director Jeff Fife said.

Staff will continue to support community needs, Fife said, “as closing our doors temporarily does not mean we can’t continue to serve the community, and we ask our members for their support, their dedication, and to help us help our neighbors in these difficult times.”
