Waynesboro Police seek information on ABC store thefts

abc theftsThe Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance from the community to help identify individuals involved in a theft of merchandise from the Virginia ABC store on Lucy Lane.

On Friday, May 13 at 6 p.m., two suspects described as African-American females in their late teens to early twenties entered the entered the ABC store, browsed around the aisles before selecting two bottles from the tequila and cordials section.

They went to another aisle in the store where they put the bottles in a purse carried by one of the women.   They then left the store with the $25 worth of liquor.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1

  • African-American Female
  • Light skin
  • Slender
  • Brown Hair

Suspect #2

  • African-American Female
  • Medium skin
  • Heavyset
  • Reddish Hair

 

If anyone has information as to the identity of this individual, please call the Waynesboro Police Department at(540) 942-6675 to speak with Officer R Figueroa or call Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-2017.

Anyone who gives information that leads to an arrest of the offender can receive a cash reward.
