Waynesboro NAACP to host Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration Sunday

The Waynesboro branch of the NAACP will host its annual MLK Celebration on Sunday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m.

In the case of inclement winter weather, the event will be cancelled.

Keynote speaker will be Pastor Rochelle Davis of Keep it Moving Empowerment Ministries in Alexandria.

The event will be held at St. James Baptist Church, 1094 Albemarle Ave., Waynesboro. Admission is free and open to the public to come celebrate the life and work of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
