Wayne Theatre hosting screening of Prince classic Purple Rain

princeThe Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro is planning a tribute to music icon Prince, who passed away on Thursday.

The theater is hosting “Purple Rain: A Tribute to Prince” on Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with music from Prince’s 39-year recording career filling the theater for the hour leading to showtime.

Admission to the event is Pay What You Will.

 

About the Film: Purple Rain (1984) starring Prince
